Beauty Tips

Here are some tips that you can try to improve your looks. I hope that these help!!!

Nails-  
*You nails reflect your health. You can tell if you are eating unhealthy if your nails are weak and brittle. To best improve the look of your nails, forget the french fries and pick up a carrot!*
 

*Smearing Vaseline on nails at night can make your nails stronger and harder which will make them grow faster. Make sure you cover your hand with a sock or a glove so you don't get Vaseline everywhere! 
*Apply a clear base coat to your nails before putting on polish. I use OPI Nail Envy. I also use Sally Hansen Hard as Nails. 
*Try not to use nail polish remover on your nails more than once a week. Believe it or not, every time you use nail polish remover, it CAN take off a layer of your natural nail. Now, if you use more expensive brands then this might not happen. 
*Avoid using fake nails. The glue can damage your nail bed. Only use once in a while!!! 
*Do not use sharp, metal objects to trim or push down cuticles.
*If you play piano, or play volleyball (as a setter), your nails might be longer then other peoples. When you tap on the tips of your fingers, this can stimulate your nail to grow. So, by playing piano and always tapping on the keys, or setting in volleyball, can make your nails grow longer!

Hair- 
*Your hair will grow faster and look shinier if you do not damage it. Damaged, dry hair will take a long time to grow out and will look unhealthy.
*When you don't eat healthy and drink plenty or water, your whole body suffers including your hair. You rhair might become dry and brittle. Drink plenty of water (6-8 glasses a day) and eat healthy. This will help your hair so much! 
*Get a trim!!! Just like a bush, the more you trim your hair, the faster it'll grow. So make sure you trim!! 
* Staying away from the heat can also help your hair. Minimize the need to straighten/curl your hair to twice a week. Also, when you do straighten/curl your hair, make sure you use a heat protection spray. Air dry your hair more. 
*Massage your scalp. Just like your nails, by rubbing your scalp, you can stimulate the hair follicles. I massage my head every night and my hair is so nice, long, and glossy. Lovely!! 
*Stay away from the whole 100 strokes thing. I know in Little House on the Prairie, they would brush their hair 100 times before bed. You don't wanna do this!!!! You break off pieces of your hair, brushing it that much! 10 times is perfect. 

Skin- 
*The key to gorgeous skin is washing your face every night to avoid break outs (we all know what pimples are...ugh) and also don't strip your skin of all its natural oils. Those are there for a reason!
  * Don't take long and steamy showers, try to take cooler ones that are quicker. The heat can strip your skin of its natural oils. 
*Use and exfoliating scrub once a week (I use Targets brand). This stuff works wonders but make sure you moisturize afterwards! Also, don't do this more than once a week because you are stripping you skin of its oils.
*Sweat! As gross as this sounds, sweating gets rid of toxic chemicals that can build up on your skin. So don't be afraid of sweating, it helps your skin! 
*Avoid smoking, tanning salons, and sunbathing. These damage your skin. 
*Don't touch your face a lot. Your hands are so oily and touching your face will do nothing but mak eyou break out. Avoid it! 
*DO NOT ever touch your eyes!!! Your eyes are very sensitive and putting dirty fingers by your eyes will not be good.
