Hey!! Hope you all are doing awesome! Rome is simply magnificent. I cannot believe that tomorrow I am going to Florence and Siena and Piza! Wow! So today we had a lot of fun. We went to the Colosseum, St. Peter in chains, the Roman Forum...andddd I think that's all. Let me just say that the weather was about 100 degrees F. Yea. 100 degrees. Hot. So, I had sweat dripping down my back and 80% of the Colosseum is in the sun. I must say though that the Colosseum was AMAZING! AMAZING!! This huge building was looming in front of me. I couldn't believe it!! The Forum was 100% in the sun. But still amazing. So cool how we could walk through the actual marketplace of the ancients. Wowza! The St. Peter in chains was also neat...I didn't realize I needed to have my shoulders covered and had to wear a robe. Fashionable.... well the day turned out to be nice. I love Rome but love the U.S too. Being in Europe makes you realize how thankful you are for your home and your family/ friends.

So, this is in a church called St. Peter in chains. These chains are supposedly the chains that were around Peter's wrists. They magically "fused together" when the priest held them up. |

Colosseum. That maze like thing is where they would let the gladiators loose with the animals. |
